Our Heart
The Butterfly Blooms was birthed from more than a desire to write a book. It was birthed from a life that had to be lived, lessons that had to be learned, tears that had to be cried, and a God who never stopped working, even in the seasons when I could not understand what He was doing.
I know what it feels like to lose pieces of yourself while trying to hold everything else together. I know what it means to smile publicly while privately asking God for strength. I know the pain of endings, the uncertainty of new beginnings, and the courage it takes to trust God when His instructions don't come with explanations.
But I also know what it means to be restored.
The Butterfly Blooms is my reminder to every woman that you are not the sum of what happened to you. You are not your disappointments, your mistakes, your losses, or the opinions of others.
You are God's creation, and there is still purpose in your life.
My prayer is that every woman who visits this space leaves knowing that she is not alone, that her life has meaning, and that God can use even the most painful chapters of her story for His glory.
I don't want women simply to admire my transformation. I want them to believe in the possibility of their own.
Because the butterfly does not become beautiful without transformation, and neither do we.
